LARRY JOSEPH COUNCILLOR SR.

Larry Joseph Councillor Sr., 50, of International Falls, Mn., passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the Rainy Lake Medical Center.
Larry was born June 7, 1960 in Fort Frances, Ont. He grew up in Northwest Bay, Ont., moving to International Falls in 1991, where he has lived since.
Larry married Tammy Helgeson on Sept. 17, 1993 in Fort Frances.
He worked at Menards in International Falls, Mn., Marvin Windows in Warroad, Mn., the KGD factory in Northwest Bay, Ont., and the Seven Clans Casino in Warroad, Mn. Most recently, he was a cab driver for City Cab in International Falls.
Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and going to pow-wows.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rennie and Agnes Councillor; and four brothers, Clarence, George, Randy, and Garnet.
Larry is survived by his wife, Tammy, and two sons at home, Ryan and Larry Jr.; one daughter, Kayla Councillor of Duluth, Mn.; a sister, Rosie Snowball of Northwest Bay, Ont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Green-Larsen Mortuary in International Falls.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Northwest Bay First Nation community center in Northwest Bay, Ont., with visitation beginning at 8 a.m.
