Olive May Earle of Emo, Ont. passed away peacefully at the age of 103 on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 at the Emo Health Centre in Emo.
Olive was born April 20, 1906 in Plateau, Que. to the late William and Elizabeth Earle.
She was a receptionist for many years for Dr. Young and Dr. O’Sullivan. Olive also was a valued member of the Lash Women’s Institute and St George’s Anglican Church.
Olive had great love for flowers, children, and cats.
Olive was predeceased by many of her family and friends.
She is survived by her dear friends, Don and Dixie Kinnear, and Elaine Hebert.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 at 11 a.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church in Emo, with Rev. Eileen Bragg officiating.
Interment took place in Emo Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Larry Jack, Mel Jack, Dave Loney, Tom Govier, Bob Dimit, and Don Kinnear.
The honourary pallbearers were Charlie Dimit, Jim Finch, Gilbert Gillies, and the Mannausau family.
