BETTY JOYCE GRAHAM

Betty Joyce Graham (nee Fry) was born Aug. 17, 1931 in St. Catharines, Ont.
On Sept. 24, 1948, she was wed to Donald C. Graham and their marriage was blessed with six children: Donna (Mrs. Thomas Graham) of Morinville, Alta., Ms. Sandy Graham Schuett of Sarnia, Ont., Brian of Sarnia, Ont., Lily (Mrs. Ivan Cole) of Barrie, Ont., David and wife, Jeanne, of Richmond Hill, Ont., and Eleanor (Mrs. Harry Steiner) of Barwick, Ont.
Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, Laura (Mrs. Harold Rose), Linda, Christine (Mrs. Jeff Taylor), Margaret (Mrs. John LaPointe), Rodney Coté and Laurie Baxter, Frank Coté and Hillary Desmarais, Stan Cole, Arlene (Mrs. Daryl Simpson), Tammi (Mrs. William McAllister), Maxine, Vincent, Jonathan Steiner, Eliza (Mrs. Jason Hege), Carl Steiner and wife, Laura, Susanna Steiner, Tabitha Steiner, Anita Steiner, and Hannah Steiner; and 18 great-grandchildren, Adam Rose, Samantha Rose, Vannessa Graham, Micheal Taylor, Nicholas Taylor, Brandon Taylor, Kaytland LaPointe, Kyle LaPointe, Josie LaPointe, Dillan Coté, Tyler Coté, Brooke Simpson, Cheyenne Simpson, Mason Simpson, Gary Hege, Lynae Hege, Ivy Hege, and Letitia Steiner.
She was predeceased by her husband; one son-in-law; and one grandson.
Joyce, as she preferred to be called, was independent and energetic. She loved nature and adventure, and enjoyed all her family and friends.
And so there was always a story to be told to all who listened.
She passed away by her flower bed, due to heart failure, on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the age of 77 years, 10 month, and 15 days.
May we all be prepared to be called suddenly.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Emo, Ont.
Interment took place in the Pineview Mennonite Church Cemetery in Barwick, Ont.
