MARGARET (QUINN) MOFFATT

Margaret Fay Moffatt (nee Quinn), 77, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009.
She was born Nov.16, 1931 in Burridge, Ont. to the late Edward and Bernice Quinn.
She lived in the Chicagoland area for more than 45 years before moving to Phoenix to be with her daughter and son.
She was active in Cub Scouts, PTA, and the Women’s Society at the United Methodist Church in Illinois. She also was involved in many volunteer activities until 2001, and worked in retail for a number of years.
She enjoyed conversation, travel, crafts, and spending time with her family.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Bernice Quinn; husband, Kenneth; son, Gary; daughter, Gloria; grandchildren, Jason, Jackson, and Elizabeth; sisters, Minnie Fryer, Clara Fraser, and Auleen Molcan; and brothers, Allen, Percy, and Fleming Quinn.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Connie Lyn Hines, son, Dale Moffatt, and grandson, Scott, and wife, Sarah, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Luva Steele of California and Gwen (Ron) Ellingson of Minnesota; brothers-in-law, Earl Fraser and Andy Molcan; sisters-in-law, Ilamae Quinn and La Donna Quinn-Jacobs; and numerous nieces and nephews throughout the United States and Canada.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Canada.
