Constance Marie Hill (nee Cawston), 78, of Emo, Ont., passed away quietly on Saturday, May 16, 2009 with family by her side.
Connie was born March 18, 1931 in Barwick, Ont. to Murray and Ada Cawston.
Connie worked as an RN in both the Fort Frances Clinic and La Verendrye Hospital, and after retirement ran her own antique shop in Emo.
She loved Bingo, cards, and the occasional trip to the casinos.
Connie is survived by her sons, Tim Vennechenko, Toby (Colleen) Vennechenko, and F. Shayne Hill; grandchildren, Mark (Jill) and Amanda (Jeridt); brothers, Mihlan (Betty), George (Sandy), and Linn (Nicole) Cawston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie was predeceased by first husband, William Vennechenko, and second husband, Percy Hill; sister, Louise and husband, “Buzz” McComb; sister, Joan Cawston; and sister-in-law, Betty Cawston.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 22, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.
Rev. Eileen Bragg will officiate, with interment in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
The honourary pallbearers will be her family and friends.
