Timothy Gosnell passed away unexpectedly in the early-morning hours of Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009 in Thunder Bay, Ont.
He was born Oct. 31, 1960 to Scott and Olga Gosnell.
Timothy leaves to mourn his father, Scott, of Rainy River, Ont.; and sisters, Anna and Kimberley, both of Thunder Bay, Ont.
He also is survived by his aunt, Sophia Pochalio, and family of Winnipeg, Man.; uncle, Jim (Judy) Gosnell and family of Kenora, Ont.; aunt, Audrey Doucette and family of Kenora, Ont.; and numerous cousins and other relatives.
Timothy will be especially missed by his closet friends, Bill Arnould and Dale and Cheryl Morrison, whom were considered part of the family circle.
He was predeceased by his mother, Olga; uncle, William Kolisnyk; grandparents, Michael and Anne Kolisnyk and Arthur and Mabel Gosnell; and uncle, Roy Gosnell.
Timothy was an avid outdoorsman who loved to spend time fishing on Lake of the Woods or the Rainy River. He was a quiet, caring man whose generosity knew no bounds. His spirit lives on in those he loved and those whose lives he touched.
Family and friends were received Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. at the Northridge Funeral Home in Emo, Ont., where the funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 23, 2009 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Henry Vander Beek officiating.
Interment will take place in Blue Cemetery at a later date.
The pallbearers were Bill Arnould, Dale Morrison, Allan Wolanicki, Bob Szlauko, Matt Morrison, and Dana Kaliska.
The honourary pallbearers were Jack Rattigan, Bobby Doucette, Wayne Baletki, and Phil Wilson.
