KEITH ELDON FARMER

Keith Eldon Farmer, of Warburg, Alta., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at the age of 65 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born Oct. 22, 1943 in Emo, Ont.
Keith was known for his big heart and open door. Everyone was always welcome at his table, and he never judged. Known by everyone for his bark but never a bite, Keith had a heart of gold and was happiest surrounded by his family and friends.
He is loved and will be missed by many.
Keith is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Gloria Farmer; children, Kelly (Michael) Snajkowski, Jennifer (Gord) Gallington, KJ (Jessica), Keith (Sheri), Jim (Angie), and John and Sharon; and 18 grandchildren.
Also surviving are his brothers, Alf (Bernice), Mervin (Edna), and Lyle; sisters, Lauverne, Dolores, Valerie (Neil), and Nancy (Allan); as well as numerous foster children, family, and friends.
Keith was predeceased by his daughter, Angel; brothers, Harold and Bevon; and his parents, Floyd and Elma.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Warburg Community Hall, 5339–50 Ave., Warburg, Alta., with Rev. Leila Currie officiating.
An interment will be held Friday, Feb. 20 at 4 p.m. at Queens Park, 32 Ave. and 4th St. N.W., Calgary, Alta.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Warburg United Church for Women or the charity of your choice.
