BEVERLY WATTS

After a courageous battle with cancer, Beverly Watts passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. on Tuesday June 24, 2008, at the age of 65.
  Beverly was born on November 25, 1942 in Fort Frances, Ont. She was united in marriage to Bill Watts on March 1, 1960 and together made their home in Finland, Ont.
  Bev was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a loving and giving lady who always put everyone’s needs ahead of her own.
Her greatest love was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and they enveloped her entire life. One only needed to mention their names to see the sparkle in her eyes.
She loved to make quilts and crochet baby blankets for all the special “apples” of her eye.
Bev always a had a wonderful vegetable garden every summer, which her family and friends enjoyed, and her love for her flower gardens, (especially yellow flowers) will always be remembered.
  Bev will be lovingly remembered by her husband William (Bill) Watts of 48 years; daughter Debbie Williamson of Fort Frances, Ont.; sons Kevin (Cheryl) Watts of Fort Frances, Ont., and Greg (Melanie) Watts of Brantford, Ont.
 She will be sadly missed by grandchildren Becky (Martin) Austin, Melissa (Chuck Dibble), Kristen (Mike Broesky), Janelle Williamson, Jeff, Heather, Trent and Hailey Watts; and great grandchildren Taylor, Mackenzie and Olivia Austin, Payton Broesky, Corey Watts, and Charles Dibble. 
  Also survived by sisters Betty (Ron) Nolan and Carol (Oscar) Burnell; sister-in-law Marie (Stan) Bates; and numerous nieces and nephews.
  Bev was predeceased by her son, Edward; parents Alex Bruce and Hazel Challes; and grandparents Lillian and Ernie Robinson.
 Family and friends were received at the Northridge Funeral Home, Emo, Ont. on Friday June 27, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. where a Celebration of Bev’s life was held. He funeral took place on Saturday June 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joe Orr officiating.
 Interment took place in Barwick Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim Teeple, Don Huitikka, Cliff Hagen and George Bates. Honourary pallbearers were all of her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
