BRADLEY JAMES GUSTAFSON

Bradley James Gustafson, 48, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008 with his family at his side at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
Brad was born May 27, 1959 in Fort Frances, where he had lived all of his life. He had worked as a forklift operator in the finishing room at the local mill, where he had been employed for 30 years.
He was a sports fanatic and was very knowledgeable in all sports. He was an avid Philadelphia Flyers hockey fan and anyone who knew him could attest to this by all of his “Philly” memorabilia.
His family was very important to him, and he enjoyed going to the cabin and spending quality time with them. His nieces and nephews were a very special and important part of his life.
It was well-known that Brad always wanted to have the last laugh.
Brad will be sadly missed by his parents, Jim and Barb Gustafson, and his four siblings, Craig (Susie) of Mine Centre, Ont., Kim Wilson (Les Waltz) of Windsor, Ont., and Kristine McCaig and Jennifer Gustafson, both of Fort Frances, Ont.
Also left to cherish his memory are his nieces and nephews, Kurtis and Blake Gustafson, Samantha and A.J. Wilson, Katie and Billy McCaig, and James and Jacob McKee; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother, Curtis; paternal grandparents, Folke and Laura Gustafson and Aunt Gloria Loney; and maternal grandparents, Lionel and Alfreda Nadon and Aunt Sue DeGagne.
A celebration of Brad’s life will be held Friday, May 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Fort Frances, with Fr. Francis Pudicherry officiating.
The pallbearers will be Greg DeGagne, Barry DeGagne, Ray Coran, and Reno Coran.
The honourary pallbearers will be Brad’s co-workers at the local mill.
