Mrs. Patricia Ruzyski, 81, passed away in hospital on Monday, March 24, 2008.
Patricia was born Nov. 23, 1926 in Fort Frances, Ont., where she was raised and educated. She moved to Thunder Bay, Ont. in 1971, where she continued to live in the family home until she moved into the Walford in 2006.
Pat enjoyed her home, yard, reading, visiting with neighbours, spending time with her dog “Sparky,” and time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her trips to Hawaii and Florida with her very good friends.
Patricia will be sadly missed by her sons, Guy (Cathy) Avis and Bill (Patti) Avis; grandson, Tyler; and granddaughters, Karli, Madison, and Robyn.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Percy Avis; her second husband, William Ruzyski; and two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Westfort Chapel (420 West Gore St.), with Canon John Jordan officiating.
A private family interment of ashes will take place at a later date in Fort Frances.
