Margaret Rudolph, 83, of 1301 Elizabeth Manor, Fort Frances, Ont., passed away quietly at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances on Monday, Oct. 25, 1999.
She was born Nov. 20, 1915 in Los Angeles, Cal. to the late William and Elmira Rudolph, who predeceased her in 1964 and 1973.
She also was predeceased by brother, Arthur Wm. Rudolph; sister-in-law, Marie Rudolph; nephew, David Rudolph; and her brother-in-law, Carl Blasky.
She is survived by her sister, Eleanor Blasky of Fort Frances; niece, Carol (Gary) Jodouin and their children, Derek and Melanie Jodouin of North Bay, Ont.; and by nephew, William (Colleen) Blasky and their children, Neil and Trevor Blasky of Campbell River, B.C.
She also is survived by her nephews, Donald (Cheryl) Rudolph and Arthur (Darcy) Rudolph, and nieces, Aimie (Lee) Millett and Kathy (Rae) Haldone-Wilson, and their families. She also is survived by cousins in Fort Frances and Winnipeg; and by good friend, Muriel Durocher.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and her friends at Elizabeth Manor.
Margaret was a well-known clerk, starting her career at Stedman’s store. She also worked for Filmore’s Grocery, Sliver Fur, and Tiny Tot Shop.
She was a life-long member of the Church of the Lutheran Hour in Fort Frances.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 1, 1999 at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Lutheran Hour, 508 Victoria Ave., Fort Frances, Ont. Rev. David Gallas will officiate, with interment in Riverview Cemetery, in Fort Frances.
A visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.
