EDWARD KELLY JR.

It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Kelly Jr. announces his passing on Sunday, July 1, 2001 at Onigaming First Nation.
Edward was predeceased by his father, Edward Kelly Sr., on Aug. 1, 1990; infant brother, David; and his grandparents, Harry and Mary Kelly, and Bert and Frances Yerxa.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Dorothy Kelly; wife, Rebecca; and children, Reanna, Rochelle, Evan, Ethan, and Eastyn.
Edward also is survived by his brothers, Daniel (Rose), Vincent (Diane), Duane (Betty), Michael, Clarence, Kelvin, and Derek (April); and sisters, Shirley (Tom), Sharon, Sheila (Riel), and Ramona (Mick).
He also will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
Edward lived all his life at Onigaming First Nation. From a large and loving family, his presence will be sadly missed at family gatherings. A young father, he cherished his family.
He also enjoyed playing guitar, “jammin” with his friends, fishing, and playing and talking hockey with his brothers.
A wake took place at Onigaming First Nation on July 4, 2001, with a traditional burial following on July 5, 2001, officiated by Elder Gilbert Smith.
Brown’s Funeral Home was in care of arrangements.
A thousand tears we have cried, it’s time to let you go on your long journey on to the warmth and comfort of your father’s arms. We love you, Edward, you will always live on in our hearts.
