Elizabeth Nelson, 89, of Manion Court, Donald Street, formerly of 1219 West Francis St., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4, 2003 at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital (Port Arthur site).
Born in Manchester, England on Sept. 20, 1913, Elizabeth came to Canada with her family at the age of eight. They settled in Fort Frances, Ont., where she met and later married Martin Nelson of Klakegg, Norway.
Funeral services were held Tuesday April 8, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Fort Frances. Rev. Arleen Berg officiated, with interment to take place in Riverside Cemetery in Fort Frances.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
