Neil Card, 58, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at his residence.
He was born May 30, 1945 in Edmonton, Alta. He was married to Shirley Lynn Green for 31 years.
Neil worked for the Ministry of Transportation for 30 years as a survey and engineering technician. He also was a member of the Ontario Wildlife Federation.
Neil enjoyed being outdoors, travelling, and watching animals. He was a kind man who was always helping those in need.
He is survived by his two sons, Bradley Walter Card of Calgary, Alta. and Bob (Robert) Russell Card of Winnipeg, Man.; their mother, Shirley Card of Fort Frances, Ont.; brothers, Meyrick Russell Card and wife, Mary, of Westlock, Alta., and John Freeland Card of Edmonton, Alta.; sister, Helen Krahulec of Edmonton, Alta.; and numerous nieces and nephews throughout Ontario, Alberta, and Minnesota.
Neil was predeceased by his parents, Neil Dalstrom and Mary Card.
At Neil’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
If friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made to the Ontario Wildlife Foundation.
