FLOYD ‘BUD’ JOHANSON

Floyd “Bud” Johanson (Johnson) passed away peacefully June 28, 2003 at Roseau Area Hospital at the age of 70.
Floyd is survived by his children, Mike (Sarah) Johanson, Theresa Ann (Brian Wiese), James (Gina) Johanson, and Dieter (Michelle) Johanson; grandchildren, Trish, Larry, Rosie, Ashley, Jessica Desiree, and Jerrica; brother, Sonny (Joan) Johnson; sister, Ann Elizabeth Johnson; and many other relatives.
Floyd was predeceased by his wife, Marina; and parent Earl and Eva Johnson.
After serving his country in the Armed Forces for 20 years, he retired and settled in Sprague, Man. and joined Canada Customs for the next 24 years.
Floyd enjoyed working with all his friends and colleagues at Canada Customs at Sprague, Piney, and South Junction. He also enjoyed being a member of the Knights of Columbus.
A funeral mass was held Friday, July 4, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Scared Heart Roman Catholic Church in Vassar, Man., with interment at the parish cemetery.
Prayers were offered Thursday, July 3, 2003 at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Vassar.
In memoriam donations to a charity of choice are gratefully appreciated.
