In loving memory of Henri R. Morrissette, 88, of Emo, Ont., who passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Henri leaves behind his wife, Winona of Emo; daughter, Sharon and husband, Milton Friess; grandchildren, Michelle McLeod, Keith (Kelly), Devon (Nancy), and Jason (Tracy) Friess; and six great-grandchildren, all of Regina, Sask.
Also surviving are his sister, Charlotte Jondreau, and brother, Gerard Morrissette, both of Winnipeg, Man.; sister-in-law, Betty and husband, Milhan Cawston, of Fort Frances, Ont.; brother-in-law, Brian Tivy and wife, Shirley, of Rainy River, Ont.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Georges and Albertine Morrissette; son, Roger; brothers, Maurice, Bernard, and Jules; and sisters, Lillian, Priscilla, and Yvette.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 22, 2003 at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in Emo. Fr. James Panikulam officiated, with interment in the Emo Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Blake Cawston, Kevin Cawston, Mark Cawston, Kelly McLeod, Glen Cameron, and Neil Grant.
The Honour Guard was provided by the Emo Royal Canadian Legion Br. #99.
