“So Close, Yet So Far Away”
Heaven took my Grandpa October 28, 2003. I got home as soon as I could but it was too late. All I could see were tears dripping from their faces.
My heart felt like it was in a million different places. I had no idea what to say or do. I know everyone feels the same way, too. Why did this have to happen this way? For this not to happen, I would pay and pay.
I wish there was something I could have done, but because I am weak, Heaven took over and won. One of these days, just not today, we will be so close, yet so far away.
Love, Taja
Dedicated to my Grandpa
