Sheila Devlin, age 43 years, of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 with her husband and friends by her side.
Born in Kenora, Sheila had grown up in the Fort Frances area where she met her husband George Bragg. Together, they moved to Thunder Bay in January of 1980, and after finishing her schooling in 1990.
Sheila began working in the Human Resources Department for both the City and the Police Department.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, and loved a good book.
Sheila was a very honest open person, a great friend to many, and had a smile for everyone.
Sheila will be sadly missed by her loving husband George; mother Marion Devlin; brother Shaun; three sisters: Maureen, Siobhan and Erin; step-mother Diane Devlin.
Also surviving are numerous other relatives. She was predeceased by her father Hilliard Devlin and mother-in-law Irene Bragg.
According to Sheila’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 27th at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, Thunder Bay, ON, P7A 4R9, officiated by Rev. Ed Long.
Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to time of Service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sheila’s memory to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation.
