PHILLIP PETERSON

Phillip Delano Peterson, 70, of International Falls, Mn., passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003 at his home after a short battle with cancer.
He was born March 3, 1933 in Big Falls, Mn.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-55. Phillip later was a maintenance planner at Boise Cascade until retiring after 41 years of service.
He loved to fish, snowmobile, hunt, and spend Fridays for lunch with close friends. He often spent time working on fix-it projects, and enjoyed family gatherings and spending time at his cabin in Littlefork.
He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Anna (Soderstrom) Peterson; and infant sisters, Marie and Della Peterson.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Jean Peterson of International Falls, Mn.; son, Blake (Beth) Peterson of International Falls, Mn.; daughters, Janice (Brad) Carlson of Fort Frances, Ont., and Nancy Peterson of International Falls, Mn.; grandchildren, Jessica and Christopher Peterson, and Jonathan and Courtney Carlson; step-grandchildren, Abbey and Hillary Fox; and brother, Darrell (Judy) Peterson of International Falls, Mn.
Memorial services will be held Monday, Dec. 22, 2003 at 11 a.m., with flag presentation, at the Faith United Church of Christ. Rev. Sue Hamly will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, in memorium donations would be preferred to the Koochiching County Hospice or the donor’s choice.
