It is with great sadness and hurt that the family announces the passing of Martha Irene (Renee) Hyatt on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006 at the age of 61 years.
After her diagnosis of cancer, Renee put her faith in God’s hands and with the help of her sisters, family, and friends, she fought the hardest battle of her short life.
Although Renee was dealt many hardships, she never complained.
She enjoyed music, old movies, and most of all her family and friends.
Renee was born in Fort Frances, Ont. to the late Albert (Minthy) and Isabel Warren.
She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband, Norman; her loving children, Cory, James, Kari Hopp and her husband, Randy, and Dan and his wife, Carrie; and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Renee also will be sadly missed by her siblings, Ken Warren, Patricia Pearson, Peggy Guenette, Dolly Lem, Pete Warren, Lilla Bell-Vessey, and Karen Warren; and all her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006 at 1 p.m. in the Stevens Funeral Homes “Moffat Chapel,” with Rev. Pat Cleghorn officiating.
Interment will be held at a later date.
Should friends desire, in memoriam donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation may be made through the Stevens Funeral Homes “Moffat Chapel,” P.O. Box 412, Dryden, Ont., P8N 2Z1.
