DENISE LOUISE GILL

Denise Louise Gill (Williamson), 32, of Kenora, Ont., formerly of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away suddenly on Friday, Oct. 1, 2004 at Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora.
Denise was born July 4, 1972 in Fort Frances. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Bernard James Hutchins in 1982; and her uncle, James Alcide (Jim) Hutchins in 1991.
She will be lovingly missed by her daughter, Autumn; husband, Murray and parents, Roy and Judy Williamson; and grandparents, Madeline and Ken Martin.
Also left to mourn are her brother, Christopher (Lindsey) and their daughter, Emma; sister, Nicolette; mother-in-law, Lou Gill; father-in-law, Wayne (Coreen) Gill; brother-in-law, Mike and niece, Jaclyn; nephews, David and Tyson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Denise was united in marriage to Murray on Sept. 16, 1995 and they were blessed with their daughter, Autumn, in 1998.
She graduated as a registered nurse from Confederation College in 1994 and continued on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lakehead University in June, 2003.
Denise and Murray moved to Kenora in 2000 and together they enjoyed holidays to Jamaica, Mexico, and Cuba. She was always very active in the outdoors, enjoying camping, swimming, kayaking, and going to her parents’ cabin.
She also enjoyed volunteering at Our Lady of the Valley School, where her daughter attends school.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004 at 10 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in Kenora, with Captains Val and Gloria Redner officiating.
A luncheon will be held after the service in the training room at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital, with complimentary parking for those who attend.
A celebration of Denise’s life, with a luncheon to follow, also will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004 at 10 a.m. at the Royal Caandian Legion in Fort Frances, with Rev. Garth Clifford officiating.
