PAUL ANTHONY BARNARD

It is with great sorrow that the family of Paul Anthony Barnard announce his passing on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital in Thunder Bay, Ont.
Paul was born April 14, 1975 in Fort Frances, Ont., where he lived until moving to British Columbia in 1991. He worked with his brother, Rennie, as a drywaller until returning to Fort Frances in 2001.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Paul also had great faith in God and enjoyed reading Scripture on a daily basis.
He leaves behind his father, Rennie Barnard Sr., and Karen Johnson of Fort Frances, Ont.; mother, Margaret Barnard of Surrey, B.C.; brothers, Rennie Jr., and Jeridt and Amanda Vennechenko, all of Fort Frances, Ont.; and grandmothers, Mary Barnard of Fort Frances, Ont. and Gena Oster of Stratton, Ont.
Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Shirley Barnard and Jerome Clare of Medicine Hat, Alta., Denis Barnard and wife, Colleen, of Fort Frances, Ont., and Vickie and husband, Orest Kocuiba, of Dryden, Ont.; Jack Oster, Kathy and husband, Ken Huffman, Josie Tathan, Janie Oster, and Mary Ellen and husband, Phil Sanders, all of the U.S.A., Patrick Oster of Stratton, Ont., Michael Oster of B.C., Gelaine and husband, Vinchenzo Skalla, and Leo Oster, all of the U.S.A., Dan Oster and wife, Donna, of B.C., Len Oster of the U.S.A., and Don Oster and wife, Helen, of B.C.; and numerous cousins.
Paul was predeceased by grandfathers, Jim Barnard and John Oster; and uncle, Jim Barnard.
Visitation was held Sunday, March 6, 2005 from 7 until 8 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 7, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Green Funeral Home. Pastor Ken Johnson officiated, with interment in the Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
The pallbearers were Rennie Barnard Jr., Jeridt Barnard, Denis Barnard Jr., Randy Armstrong, Marty Gibson, Troy Jolicoeur, and Vince Pennarun.
The honourary pallbearers were Pat Oster and Rick Bedard.
