RUTH BRUYERE

Ruth Bruyere, a lifelong resident of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Monday, April 4, 2005 with her family and friends by her side after a seven-year battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
She enjoyed the company of her “crafty friends,” Patti, Sue, and Dorothy, and her Bingo partners, her niece, Melvina Morrisseau, and sister-in-law, Annie.
When not being crafty or playing Bingo, she would be gabbing with Joey or Edith.
Ruth was predeceased by her sons, Lindsay and Gregory; father, Alfred; mother, Esther; sisters, Lorraine and Bertha; brothers, Phillip, Claude, Leonard, and Eddie; and most recently, her lifelong friend, Dolly McPherson.
She is survived by her children, Lucille, Richard (Marlis), Joan, Julie (Don), Robin, Dean (Peggy), Lorraine (Jergen), Louanne, Gary (Mandy), and Jackie (Sean); brothers, Bruce (Shirley), Kenny (Annie), and Gerald; as well as her good friend, James Banks.
Ruth also leaves in the care of the Lord 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She also will be greatly missed by special nieces and nephew, Laurie, Jennifer, and Brian Perreault.
Visitation will be held Wedneaday, April 6, 2005 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Multi-Use Complex on Couchiching First Nation.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Christopher Peters, Ronald Peters, Lindsay Bruyere, Randy Jones, Steven Bruyere, Jamie Hanson, Michael Hanson, and Matthew DeBenedet.
Honourary pallbearers will be Melvina Morrisseau, Annie Bruyere, Shirley (Bruce) Bruyere, Josephine Bruyere, Edith Lyons, Janice Parks, Patti Christian, and Susan Freeman.
The family would appreciate in memoriam donations be made to the Lung Association.
