Alice Hurley passed away peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, Ont. on Friday, June 3, 2005 in her 90th year. She was born Aug. 29, 1915 in Miscampbell, Ont.
Alice Helena Hurley (nee Gadd) was the beloved wife of the late Dennis J. Hurley; and loving mother of Michael Hurley and his wife, Denna, Maureen and her husband, William Elliott, Susan and her husband, Peter Seibert, and Libby and her husband, Dr. Craig Campbell.
She also was the loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Dear sister of Robert and his wife, Shirley, Victor Gadd and his wife, Lorraine, Mary and her husband, Russell Fisher, Dorothy (Mrs. Harry Caul), and Dixie Crossman.
Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Frank (Bud) Clarence; and her sister, Lillian (Mrs. Harry Rushton).
A funeral mass was celebrated at St. Mary’s Church on Monday, June 6, 2005 at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, in memoriam donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
