It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Betty on Aug. 18, 2006 after a lengthy illness.
She was born June 4, 1917 and passed away at the age of 89.
Betty was predeceased by her husband, James Curr, in 1968; parents, Alexander and Elizabeth Boyle; and brother, Pete Boyle.
Her memory will be cherished by son, James (Larisa); grandchildren, Elissa and Andrew; sister, Jean Bradley; and nieces, Betty Trevenen and family, Anne Campbell and family, and Margaret Zoske and family.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006 at 11 a.m. at St. James Presbyterian Church, 1476 Portage Ave., with Rev. Neville Phills officiating.
A reception followed the service in the church hall.
Mom loved flowers, and would be greatly appreciated and a comfort for the family.
