TEDDY ANN BRIGHAM

Teddy Ann Brigham, of 202 Mercury Ave., Atikokan, Ont., passed away peacefully Aug. 2, 2005 at the Atikokan General Hospital in Atikokan.
Teddy Ann was born March 5, 1942 to Marvin and Ardelle Brigham. She was born and raised north of Emo, Ont., where she attended school in a one-room school.
As a teenager, she worked in various tourist camps in Emo while helping out at home.
Teddy Ann moved to Atikokan around 1957, where she raised her family.
She worked for the Ministry of Natural Resources, planting trees for many summers. In the off-season, she was employed as a cook at the Junior Ranger camp at Mink Lake for 22 summers until her illness.
When she wasn’t working, she was quite busy either cutting her lawn or attending to her flower beds.
Teddy Ann always had time to chat with neighbours, family, and friends. She also had a great love for animals and over the years she had many.
Teddy Ann had a great sense of humour. She was a very independent, determined woman and very special to all of us. We will miss her greatly.
Teddy Ann is survived by three daughters, Julie (Deke) Melnychuk, Rhonda Myrberg (Zeke Latell), and Sherry Myrberg (Armand Martel); grandchildren, Brian, Bobby, Cody, Tanya, Ryan, and Shane; and great-grandchildren, Taylor and Gabriel.
Also surviving are her sisters, Marvelle (Ken) Cone of Mine Centre, Ont., Donna (Darren) Toewes of Barwick, Ont., and Barb (Brian) Murray of Fort Frances, Ont.; three brothers, Doug (Jane) Brigham of Emo, Ont., Ed (Kathie) Brigham of Atikokan, Ont., and Jerry Brigham of Emo, Ont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Teddy Ann was predeceased by her parents, Marvin and Ardelle Brigham; and son, Brian Herman Myrberg in infancy.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate Teddy Ann’s life on Friday, Aug. 6, 2005 at the Moose Hall. Prayers were given by Dave Baxter.
