STAN McLELLAN

Stanley Howard McLellan, 52, of International Falls, Mn., passed away Friday, Oct. 28, 2005 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, Mn.
Stan was born Oct. 2, 1953 in Red Lake, Ont. to Sylvia and Ormal McLellan. He resided in Ear Falls, Ont., where he grew to share his father’s passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
He later discovered underground mining, which became his profession of choice. He currently was employed at Boart Longyear as a percussive driller.
In April, 1983, he married his soulmate and best friend, Terry Lynn Santine of International Falls, and found his true joy as husband and father. He lived and worked to fulfill the heart’s desire of his wife and children.
Stan never wasted a day of his life. If he had finished his “to do” list, he’d start on yours. Stan lived life like a kid in a candy store—awed by things big and small.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling but, above all else, he enjoyed people.
His industrious nature, joyful spirit, friendship, and gift of gab bill be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Tony and Sis Larocque; father, Ormal McLellan; and his special aunt and uncle, Ovide and Sharon Larocque.
He leaves behind his wife, Terri; children, Crystal, Rocky (Karina), and Daniel; grandchildren, Summer, Justin, Kiana, and Keisha; mother, Sylvia McLellan (Fred Booth); and brother, Tim McLellan.
Also surviving are his father- and mother-in-law, Emil and Neva Satine; sisters-in-law, Cherie (Lee) Ness and Kelly Santine (Greg Landry); several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and many children he embraced as his own.
The family invites you to celebrate his joyful spirit in a ceremony honouring his life on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005 at 4 p.m. at First Lutheran Church of International Falls.
There will be a reception at the church following the ceremony.
