Sherryn Lee Pearson, formerly of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away suddenly on Wednesday Nov. 30, 2005 in Ear Falls, Ont.
She was born Feb. 2, 1949 in Fort Frances to Nels and Muriel Pearson. She lived in Fort Frances for most of her life, then spent the last several years in the Dryden area.
Sherryn was a giving and loving person who truly cherished children. The children that surrounded her over the years were her life and her joy. She also was an excellent cook and the family loved coming together for meals at her home.
Sherryn is survived by her daughter, Melissa Pearson (Mel Larson) of Fort Frances, Ont.; brother, Bruce Pearson (Jane) and their children, Amie and Kyle, of Kanata, Ont.; and cousin, Val (Ray) Calder and their children, Pat (Ken) Cupp and children, Jason (Laura) and Sarah, Kelly Calder and her children, Ashley and William, Ray (Lisa) Calder and their children, Amy, Cara, and Ray, and Susan (Michael) Carmody and their children, Cody and Jesse.
Also surviving are cousins, Carolyn Wise, Dan and Kelvin (Shirley) McRae, and families; and cousins, Rudy (Wendy) Anderson and their children, Erika and Wesley, Jim Anderson, and their mother, Betty McKinnon.
She also leaves behind special friends, Jason Wise, McKenzy Wise, Rhonda and Harvey Phillips, Bruno Beniot, Donna and Trisha Law, and Hilda Castonguay.
She was predeceased by her parents, Nels and Muriel Pearson; sister, Marlene in infancy; uncles, Ronald and Lawrence McRae; aunt, Sarah Anderson; cousin, Wes Anderson; and special friend, Margaret Calder.
A memorial service will take place Monday, Dec. 12, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Pastor Diane Clifford officiating.
Cremation has taken place in Winnipeg, Man., and interment will be held at a later date.
The honourary pallbearers will be all of Sherryn’s family and friends whose lives she touched and enriched.
