It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our daughter, mother, and grandmother, Sherrie, after a brief illness, on Saturday, July 1, 2006.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Gwen Hubbell of Winnipeg, Man.; daughter, Tracy Newman and her husband, Dale, of Brampton, Ont. and their sons, Dustin and Danny; her twin sons, Rick and his wife, Michèle, of Winnipeg, Man. and their daughters, Janelle and Chantal, and Ted and his wife, Nancy, of Fort Frances, Ont. and their sons, Jeremy and Brody; and Caramel the cat, too.
She was predeceased in 1967 by her father, Maj. Edward L. Hubbell; and her husband, Sid, in 2002.
When I come to the end of the day
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little, but not too long.
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love we once shared
Miss me, but let me go.
Cremation has taken place. At Mom’s request, no service will be held.
A celebration of her life will take place Friday, July 7, 2006 from 1-3 p.m. in McMillan Hall at Knox United Church in Fort Frances, Ont.
Flowers gratefully declined. In memoriam donations may be made to Friends of Animals or the Riverside Health Care Centre.
