MERVIN HOMENIUK

It is with great sorrow that the family of Mervin Homeniuk announces his unexpected passing on Monday, Dec. 19, 2005 at home.
Mervin was born Dec. 19, 1939 in Fort Frances, Ont. to Nick and Anne Homeniuk. He lived here all of his life. He worked with the local paper mill for 37 years, retiring from the Wood Room.
Mervin enjoyed being outdoors, going hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden.
He leaves behind his daughter, Donna and Dennis Vandette of Fort Frances, Ont., son, Dennis Homeniuk of Thunder Bay, Ont., and their mother, Dorothy Laird of Kenora, Ont.; sister, Stella and Doug Chapelle of Don Mills, Ont.; as well as numerous extended family.
Mervin was predeceased by his parents.
At Mervin’s request, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.
