HARRY MILLER GREEN

Harry Miller Green, 58, of 517 Second St. E., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away suddenly on Friday, Dec. 23, 2005 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
Harry was born July 8, 1947 in New Glasgow, N.S. to the late Harry and Evelyn Green.
After receiving his education, he moved to New Brunswick, where he was general foreman at the Pointe LePreau nuclear plant. The family then moved to Hamilton, Ont. and later to Fort Frances, where he worked as a pipefitter for Abitibi-Consolidated.
Harry was an avid sports fan; he also enjoyed reading, discussing politics and world issues, and baking. He found peace with the smell of the ocean and the sound of the waves, and felt wealthiest through the love of his children.
He was predeceased by parents, Harry and Evelyn Green; and brother, Laurie (Greta) Green of New Glasgow, N.S.
He is survived by a son, Trevor (Michelle) Garnett of Hampton, N.B.; daughters, Sacha Garnett of Hampton, N.B., and Chelsea and Jennifer Green of Fort Frances, Ont.; and grandchildren, Katelyn, Lexie, and Kevin of Hampton, N.B.
Also surviving are his nephews, Stewart (Linda) Green, Stephen (Karen) Green, and David (Cindy) Green of New Glasgow, N.S., and Craig Green of Alberta; nieces, Nancy (Lester) Muise of New Glasgow, N.S. and Maura of Alberta; and lifelong friend Melanie Pavek of International Falls, Mn.
He will be brought home, where his ashes will be scattered off the coast of Nova Scotia.
