MARG WILSON

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Marg Wilson, after a long but always strong and courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006.
Marg was strong and positive until the very end and gave strength to every one close to her, and always was worried about how we (her friends and family) were doing.
She always will be remembered by those who knew her for her positive attitude during her illness. Marg was a fighter.
Born Margaret Ann Cargill on March 7, 1944 in Fort Frances, Ont. to the late Jack and Madeline Cargill, she remained in the area her whole life.
She married the love of her life, Bob Wilson, in 1964 and made a wonderful, strong, and caring home with him for their two children, Ann Marie and Tylar.
Their door always was open to friends and family. Many wonderful memories were made at the farm—one of her favourites being the many large gatherings she had in the summers known as her “Just because” get-togethers, with lots of great food and even more great laughs and memories.
Her friends were her family and held a very special place in her heart.
Marg welcomed her son-in-law, John, and daughter-in-law, Missy, with open arms, and always said she loved them as if they were her own.
One of her favourite topics were her precious grandchildren. She would sit and talk about them for hours to anyone who had the time to listen. They were her pride and joy.
Marg worked for 25 years at the Fort Frances Jail as a cook, and always will be remembered by those who knew her for her love and talent for cooking.
When she was not working, she would spend hours in her garden, always producing enough to care for a few other families.
Marg also had a great love for stock car racing, and she and Bob were supporters for many years and have made many wonderful life-long friends.
Marg is survived by her husband, Bob Wilson; daughter, Ann (John) Craig; son, Tylar (Missy) Wilson; and grandchildren, Chelsey and Colton Craig, and Liberty Wilson.
Also surviving are her sister, Donna (Ken) Morrison (Shannon, Kevin, and Shane Jerry); sister-in-law, Dorothy Cargill (Brian (Kathy) Perrault, Gwen Beadle, Donovan and Barry Perrault, and Lana (Ben) Jackway); sister-in-law, Betty-Jean Robinson (Darryck, Karen, Katie, and Kristine); brother-in-law, Don Wilson; mother-in-law, Julia Wilson; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, and great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by parents Jack and Madeline Cargill; brothers, John, Kenny, and Ricky; father-in-law, Cleve Wilson; and brother-in-law, Gordon Robinson.
Marg will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, but takes with her her most cherished gift in life—the never-ending love and support she received from all of her friends and family.
A visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 3, 2006 from 7-9 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, Ont.
