HARRY KILNER

Harry Kilner, 80, of Stratton, Ont., passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
He was born March 8, 1926 in Thorburn, N.S. to the late Harry and Elizabeth Kilner.
Harry’s family moved to Cambridge, Ont. when Harry was very young. At the age of nine, his family moved to England, where Harry grew up and later worked in the mines.
Harry later moved to Toronto, Ont., where he worked for the Toronto Transit for 20 years. While in Toronto, Harry was involved with the Boy Scouts for many years.
From there, he moved to Ignace, Ont., where he worked in the mines. Harry later moved to Stratton, where he met the love of his life, Judith Miners. Together they farmed in Stratton for the past 20 years.
He was predeceased by one sister, Katie Hill.
Harry is survived by his wife, Judith Miners of Stratton, Ont.; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in southern Ontario at a later date.
