ZOE KATHLEEN WALSH

Zoe Kathleen Walsh, 44, of Rainycrest Home for the Aged, 550 Osborne St., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances on Wednesday, May 3, 2006.
She was born Aug. 14, 1961 in Winnipeg, Man. to George and Norah Walsh.
Zoe spent her early years in Winnipeg and Toronto, Ont. Most of her adult life was spent in Thunder Bay, Ont., where she was very involved with her friends from Avenue II and Wesway.
Zoe was always a major supporter in all of her family’s endeavours, and was loved by all who met her and got to know her. She had a strong enjoyment of music and was “Mother’s Little Angel.”
The family would like to extend their thank-you to all of the wonderful people at Rainycrest who were there for Zoe.
She was predeceased by her father; George Walsh; and maternal grandparents, John and Gladys Keenahan.
Zoe is survived by her mother, Norah Walsh; two brothers, Sandy Stalker and George Walsh; and sister, Jane and husband, Dick Trivers, all of Fort Frances, Ont.; two nephews, J.K. Stalker and Joseph Trivers; two great-nephews, Alexander Stalker and Jacob Bolzan; two nieces, Marah Trivers and partner, Monte Bolzan, and Kathleen and husband, Jonathan Cuthbertson; and two great-nieces, Megan and Molly Carlson.
A service to celebrate Zoe’s life will be held Friday, May 12, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Rainycrest Home for the Aged in Fort Frances, with Pastors Garth and Diane Clifford officiating.
Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a later date.
