One new positive case of COVID-19 has emerged in our region. It is the first case for Atikokan.
According to the Northwestern Health Unit, the patient was in contact with an individual who had tested positive outside our region. The case was quarantining before symptoms and is in self-isolation. There are no contacts in our region, according to the NWHU. That brings our local total to 10.
