Despite many stores and services being shut down right now, the local Neighbours Modern Diner, along with several other local restaurants, are open and ready to serve takeout to the community amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Ford Government made an order declaring an emergency under s 7.0.1 (1) the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act yesterday that requires all bars and restaurants to shut down except for those providing takeout food and delivery. Several local restaurants have made the transition. Call your favourite eatery to see if they’ve made the switch.
