St. Patrick School principal Jessica Veenbaas, left, Rainy River District EMS paramedic Kirt Pfeifer and North Star Community school vice-principal Carly Skrenski showed off some of the warm toques that have been donated to the schools in Atikokan as part of an initiative undertaken by Safe Communities Rainy River District. The group has purchased these toques to go out into the district communities and be delivered directly to the people who need them most during the winter.
