Members of the local Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO) took to the picket lines again yesterday as part of ongoing strike actions that are being taken independently by all four teachers’ unions in Ontario. As part of the escalation in strike actions undertaken by the union, ETFO members will be holding two strike days each week; one day that is province-wide and another day of rotating strikes affecting individual school boards. For the Rainy River District School Board next week, the provincial strike will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 11, and the rotating strike for RRDSB will be Friday, Feb. 14.
