Nearly 30 people came out to the Rainy Lake Nordic Ski Club’s ‘Snowshoeing in the Dark’ event on Saturday (Jan. 4). Thomas LePine spearheaded the event and Tom Shumaker led attendees throughout the evening, while Nicole LePine provided refreshments back at the chalet. The ski club hopes to draw upon the LePine family’s knowledge and interest to bring more people out onto their trails in the future.
