Mary O’Connor, client services co-ordinator for the local Alzheimer Society, was at Safeway on Friday to provide information and distribute blue ribbons for “World Alzheimer Day.” She then went to the Shaw room at the Fort Frances Public Library to talk about the Alzheimer Society programs and services that are offered in Rainy River District followed by a presentation on the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease.
