Seine River First Nation chief Tom Johnson spoke at the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new Multi-Use Cultural and Tourism Centre in his community on Thursday. He said the centre will act as a gathering place for the community to participate in sacred ceremonies and a place where elders can pass on their cultural experiences and values to the next generations. There will also be a tourism component, where visitors can learn about the First Nation.
