The Fort Frances Her-icanes and Renegades exchanged high-fives and pleasantries after the ‘Canes claimed a 2-1 victory in the Rainy River District Women’s Fastball League’s championship final last Wednesday night at the St. Francis Sports Field. It was the fourth-straight title for the Her-icanes, who have built something of a dynasty in the women’s league.
