Team Northern Ontario took the home crowd in Fort Frances by storm as they rolled to the title at the 1996 Canadian Police Curling Championships. The quartet, which featured Clint Barton (skip), Scott Gobeil (third), Don Robertson (second), and Steve Maki (lead), will be one of two teams inducted as part of this year’s Fort Frances Sports Hall of Fame class on Aug. 10.
