Miranda Wilson, left, and Christopher Wood watched as instructor Meghan Spooner demonstrated how to trim the dome off their cakes as part of the “Make and Bake” camp put on by Confederation College this week. Spooner walked participants through essential baking techniques, and everyone tried their hands at making cookies, cupcakes and decorating their own cakes. The next summer camp offered by Confederation College will be the “Explore the Trades” camp, taking place the week of Aug. 19-23.
