Dancin’ with Darcie’s “Stars” performing line are a step closer to being able to go to a national dance competition on July 10-15 in Wisconsin Dells. The “Stars” served up a delicious meal to the crowd gathered last Thursday evening for a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at the Couchiching Multi-use Facility. The dinner drew over 300 people, including many takeouts, and thanks to overwhelmingly generous donations form both sides of the border, raised about $5,500 CAD as well as $500 USD. Most of the cooking was done by Fort High teacher Kelly Connor and his students.
