Local artist Penny Faragher taught St. Francis School students how to use acrylic paint as a medium during an art workshop for Grades 4 to 6 on Wednesday. Faragher joined fellow artists Emily Hyatt, Jean Richards, Nichole Lowey, Linda Guimond and Dylinda George in conducting workshops covering a range of artistic styles from stained glass to beadwork. With the help of Don Marquis, Greg Turner who has designed his own fishing lures for years, taught students how to get creative and craft a lure of their own, in conjunction with art workshops.
