The Borderland Autism Awareness Walk took place Saturday afternoon along the La Verendrye Parkway. The purpose was to raise awareness on issues of early intervention, receiving a proper diagnosis, and obtaining the proper support from the provincial government for each individuals needs. The warm wether and sun kept the smiles shining all afternoon. Children and adults enjoyed the magical wonders of the Grampa Magic Show at Legion Park afterwards. A special thanks for Safeway and Super One for the donations helping support the event.
