Wayne Johnson will be speaking/sharing at the Church of the Holy Spirit on Saturday, June 15 at 2 p.m.
Wayne is the CEO of Tearfund Canada (formerly known as World Relief Canada). He will be sharing about what he has seen, heard, and helped women in the poorest countries in the world.
Wayne is passionate about breaking the bonds of poverty–he has traveled among the poor in over 50 countries of the world.
He is also on the board for Canadian Foodgrains Bank–a very broad, successful program that works with Canadian farmers and connecting them with those who are hungry.
We are fortunate to have Wayne come to our corner of the world and share with us.
He will speak on Saturday, June 15 for a couple of hours. Then, we will have a potluck meal that will enable us to mix and mingle with him and the others who are there.
