Please join over 100 people to raise awareness of autism this Saturday during the Borderland Autism Awareness Walk.
While April is World Autism Awareness Month, we are having our awareness walk on Saturday, June 1, as the weather is more conducive to outdoor activities.
Normally, we hold this event in International Falls, but since it is an international event, we decided to have the walk take place in Fort Frances this year.
The walk will begin on the riverfront at 1 p.m. It will start at the Sorting Gap Marina and end at the corner of Crowe and Front Streets.
At the conclusion of the walk, we will all meet at the Legion Park on the King’s Highway for the “Grampa Magic” show, education discussions and refreshments, until 3 p.m.
