Grade 8 Robert Moore student Tatum Ronmark placed third in the regional science fair at Fort High on Saturday for her project on “Nature vs. Nurture.” She looked at whether talking to plants can effect their growth and found that talking positively to plant helps them grow. Other winners in the Grade 7-12 category were Red Lake District High School student Erica Forsythe who received first-place for her project titled “Medicine in my Backyard,” and Fort Frances High School student Michael Redford received second-place for his project titled “Brushing Away the Competition.”
